Terms of Service

Last updated: July 7, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Denver Health EMS Academy, including Denver Health EMS Learn and Denver Health EMS Exams (the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are for individual use and may not be shared.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to bypass authentication, exam integrity, or proctoring controls.
  • Do not access, copy, or interfere with data or accounts that are not yours.
  • Do not disrupt, probe, or overload the Platform or its infrastructure.
  • Do not misuse, redistribute, or resell course content, questions, or materials.

Exams and proctoring

Timed and proctored exams are subject to server-enforced time limits, attempt limits, and integrity monitoring. Live proctored exams require your explicit consent to webcam, microphone, screen, and room-scan capture. Attempting to circumvent these controls may void your results and lead to account action.

Intellectual property

Course content, question banks, branding, and other Platform materials are the proprietary property of Denver Health EMS Academy or its licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial educational use. Some media is presented as draft placeholder content pending approved Denver Health EMS media.

Educational purpose and disclaimers

The Platform supports EMT education and readiness. It is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and it does not replace official certification, licensure, or accreditation requirements set by your certifying body or jurisdiction. Nothing here is medical advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Denver Health EMS Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or that risks the security or integrity of the Platform.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
