Denver Health EMS Exams

Secure EMT testing with live proctoring and honest limits.

Practice, tutor, timed, live proctored, and capstone scenario modes share the same student identity, eligibility, progress, and remediation model as Denver Health EMS Learn.

High-stakes lockdown reality

Web-only monitoring cannot guarantee full lockdown.

For true high-stakes prevention of tab switching, external browser access, screen capture gaps, and machine-level control, integrate a secure browser, native lockdown app, or dedicated proctoring SDK. The web app should still capture consent, snapshots, room scan evidence, risk events, and live proctor actions.

Proctoring Lifecycle

Designed for prevention, detection, evidence, and review.

01

Identity verification

Photo ID, profile match, exam authorization, consent, and accommodation review.

02

Device readiness

Browser/device checks, webcam, microphone, screen share availability, battery, and connection status.

03

Room scan

Environment sweep, desk check, prohibited materials review, and proctor approval.

04

Live monitoring

Webcam/screen tiles, scheduled snapshots, event timeline, warnings, pauses, and escalation.

05

Evidence packet

Risk events, snapshots, proctor notes, session metadata, incident decisions, and retention policy.

Risk events

Face missing, extra face, gaze away, audio spike, tab blur, screen share stopped, copy/paste, network drop.

Server-side timer

Exam timing must be authoritative on the backend, with autosave and recovery from refresh/network interruption.

Review packet

Proctors and reviewers need a single timeline with snapshots, recordings, notes, warnings, termination decisions, and audit logs.
