Four trauma modules progress from mechanism and assessment to hemorrhage, burns/tissue injury, and system-based trauma/MCI.

Module 1

Introduction and Kinetics of Trauma

Defines trauma, basic management, mechanism of injury, blunt/penetrating kinetics, bullets/blasts, and stable/unstable assessment.

Teaches wound patterns, burn depth/TBSA, burn special considerations, musculoskeletal injuries, splinting, and traction devices.
