Modules and Subtopics
Four modules cover pregnancy/delivery, newborn and pediatric basics, pediatric pathology, and EMT operations.
Module 1
Covers pregnancy anatomy, trimester problems, labor stages, delivery, complications, peripartum care, and obstetric kit use.
Outcomes
Module 2
Teaches newborn transition, neonatal resuscitation progression, pediatric panic control, milestones, PAT, and assessment tools.
Outcomes
Module 3
Covers pediatric airway, breathing, circulation/shock, trauma, neuro/endocrine problems, SUID/BRUE, and child abuse recognition.
Outcomes
Module 4
Finishes the pathway with hazmat awareness, ICS, MCI, vehicle/air operations, supraglottic airways, documentation, and NREMT readiness.
